As of September 1, there have been a few changes to how points are earned and calculated.
Here’s what’s changed:
Extra points are now called Bonus points
Status points are now called Level points
Basic points are no longer used. Now, when flying with SAS or an alliance partner airline, you’ll earn both Bonus and Level points.
Your current point balance, expiry dates, and progress toward the next level are unaffected.
Bonus points are EuroBonus’ currency that you can use on flights, hotel nights, upgrades, rental cars, shopping and much more.
They can be spent within 4-5 years after they are earned.
