As a Diamond member, you can change your flight (to an earlier or later departure) on the day of departure at no extra cost. This benefit applies to all SAS flights, regardless of ticket type. Changes can only be made at our staffed check-in counters and SAS service points at the airport. This means that you cannot make changes at the gate, in the SAS App, when you check in online or under My bookings.
You can change your flight from midnight in the time zone of the departure airport. Please note that free changes apply to segments of a trip and cannot be used to change your itinerary. Standard ticket rules apply once the scheduled departure time has passed as well as when you change your itinerary.
Please also note that if your baggage has already been checked in on another flight, we cannot assist you with rebooking. Additionally, please note that certain restrictions may apply to special requests involving weapons, animals, special meals or special assistance.
Travel extras are non-refundable if you choose to voluntarily rebook on an earlier or later departure, and we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned the same seat as originally booked on your initial flight.
NB: Due to technical limitations, this benefit does not apply at the following airports: Salzburg (SZG), Dubrovnik (DBV), Pula (PUY), Zadar (ZAD), Split (SPU) and Tivat (TIV).
