Online check-in

On SAS flights, you can avoid lines at the airport by checking in online from 30 hours before departure. If you only have carry-on baggage and you've checked in online, you can just proceed through security to the gate.

If online check-in isn't available, you'll need to check in at the airport.

Save time with online check-in

When you check in online, you can:

  • Select your seat 30 hours before departure up until 1 hour before.

  • Download a digital boarding pass on your phone or print a paper boarding pass.

  • Print your bag tags at a self-service kiosk and drop your bags at the self-service bag drop, if you have checked baggage 

  • Go to Check in or My bookings and enter your booking reference and last name.

  • Check in and choose your seat from 30 hours before departure up to 1 hour before.

  • We'll email you 28-22 hours before departure to remind you if you haven't already checked in.

  • Add your booking to the SAS app

  • Check in and choose your seat from 30 hours before departure up to 1 hour before.

  • If you haven't checked in, we'll prompt you in the SAS App 18 hours before departure.

If you've booked a SAS flight and it's operated by Air France or KLM, you'll need to check in on the operating airline by visiting their website. For flights departing from Split, check in online here

When you travel on a SAS flight, you never need to worry about missing check-in. We'll email you 28-22 hours before departure so you can check in online. If you haven't checked in, you'll be prompted in the SAS App 18 hours before departure. Then, 4 hours before departure, if you still haven't checked in, we'll text you if you provided your phone number when you booked your trip. Just click on the link in the message to check in. h
