RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN

Before you make a request to be forgotten, please take a look at the following information.

We will delete all your personal data within thirty (30) days, except the data we are legally required or allowed to process.

Note that SAS can’t delete all personal data. To protect you from fraud, PNR data will not be deleted in accordance with European Parliament and European Commission regulation EC 261/2004. If the traveler has committed any act that meets ICAO Resolution "A33-4 Adoption of national legislation on certain offenses committed aboard civil flights (disruptive passengers)," this information will not be deleted.


If you don’t have an SAS or EuroBonus account

  • If you don’t have an SAS or EuroBonus account/SAS Travel Pass, your personal data is automatically deleted after your trip except for information that may be needed in the event of a complaint or other legal matter.

EuroBonus account

  • Please note that your EuroBonus membership will be canceled, all of your EuroBonus points will be deleted and you won’t be able to access any information about your past membership.
  • Take advantage of the chance to use your points before you make a request to be forgotten.
  • If you are a Point Sharing group owner, you need to transfer the ownership first.

SAS Credit cards

  • If you have a SAS credit card linked to your EuroBonus account you must contact your card provider and cancel the card before closing your EuroBonus account.

SAS travel pass

  • Please note that your SAS Travel Pass will be canceled and you won’t be able to access any information about your past SAS Travel Pass travel.
  • All outstanding invoices must be settled in full before you make a request to be forgotten.
  • If you’d like to use any remaining SAS Travel Pass trips, you need to use them before making a request to be forgotten.
  • If you have a SAS Travel Pass connected to a company then only the company can cancel the SAS Travel Pass account and make a request to be forgotten.

When you make a request to be forgotten, we'll send a one-time password to the phone number linked to your account. Just enter it in the next step so we can delete your account and all the information in it.
