Rebooking offered free of charge due to possible strike among airport staff in Munich 28 February 2025
Due to possible strike in Munich, passengers traveling from and to Munich with SAS on 28 February 2025 have the possibility to voluntary rebook their ticket once free of charge.
Rebooking free of charge
Rebooking can be made to a SAS operated flight 27 February - 04 March 2025 to the same destination in the same service class as the original ticket.
This offer is not valid for rebooking to other airlines.
If you bought your ticket via a Travel Agent or a Tour Operator, please contact them directly.
You can change your reservation free of charge on My Bookings, when the following criteria's are met:
You bought the ticket on SAS website, SAS App or via SAS Customer Service.
Flight is not canceled
The departure date of your flight is 28 February 2025
Your ticket is bought and issued on/before 26 February 2025
SAS Customer Service or Travel agent must be contacted for rebooking if:
Travel with a pet
Travel as an unaccompanied minor
Special meal is ordered
Seating is prereserved
Transportation of a wheelchair and - or special assistance is requested
Travel with a group ticket

SAS will not reimburse travelers for costs such as, but not limited to, accommodations, meals or surface or air transport related for voluntary rebooking.
Flights and other travel services in Greece may face major disruption on Friday 28 February when air traffic controllers and other transport workers are due to join a 24-hour nationwide general strike.
If the strike becomes a fact, all commercial flights in and out of Athens’s main airport are set to be cancelled for 24 hours during the strike period from 00.01 to 23.59 on Friday.

The German Union VERDI has declared a strike that will close Dusseldorf Aerodrome for the full day 24 February 2025.
SAS operate 5 Round trips to/from Dusseldorf 24 February. These flights will unfortunately be cancelled.

Refund
Permitted for canceled flights.
Due to urgent runway repair, Sundsvall (SDL) Midlanda Airport will be closed for traffic in the period of 25 February 14:00utc - 09 March 11:00utc 2025.
All SK operated flights will unfortunately be canceled in this period.
Affected reservations will get status "Unable" as no alternative for rebooking available within this period.
Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly, and consider alternative arrangements during this period.
SAS regrets that the airport has to close at short notice, which affects us and our passengers. As always, safety is the most important thing and we therefore have to take the airport's decision into account.
Rebooking for travel outside specified period
Rebooking can be made to a SAS operated flight to the same destination in the same service class as the original ticket. New date of travel must be on/before 31MAY25.
This offer is not valid for rebooking to other airlines.

Refund
Permitted for canceled flights.
If you hold a UK visa and use a biometric residence permit (BRP) or card (BRC) to prove your immigration status, access your eVisa before your travel to the UK.
If you already have an eVisa, make sure your travel document is registered to your account.
If you do not need a visa to visit the UK for short stays of up to six months, you might need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA).
As a part of the work to improve punctuality, SAS is making a change to the check-in deadline for short haul flights.
Therefore, with effective date 25 January 2024, the new check-in deadlines for short haul flights are:
Domestic - 40 minutes before departure
From Scandinavia - 40 minutes before departure
From Europe - 45 minutes before departure
The change applies for all channels where check-in functionality is available.
Due to the current situation in the region SAS has decided to pause all flights to Ukraine and Ukraine airspace until further notice.
As a consequence of the closure of Russian airspace, we are also making changes to routings for our flights to China resulting in longer flight times of approx. 2 hours.
