Rebooking offered free of charge due to industrial action in Brussels 10 March 2025
Due to possible strike in Brussels, passengers traveling from and to Brussels (BRU) with SAS on 31 March 2025 have the possibility to voluntary rebook their ticket once free of charge.
Rebooking free of charge
Rebooking can be made to a SAS operated flight 28 March – 7 April 2025 to the same destination in the same service class as the original ticket.
This offer is not valid for rebooking to other airlines.
If you bought your ticket via a Travel Agent or a Tour Operator, please contact them directly.
You can change your reservation free of charge on My Bookings, when the following criteria's are met:
You bought the ticket on SAS website, SAS App or via SAS Customer Service.
Flight is not canceled
The departure date of your flight is 31 March 2025
Your ticket is bought and issued on/before 31 March 2025
SAS Customer Service or Travel agent must be contacted for rebooking if:
Travel with a pet
Travel as an unaccompanied minor
Special meal is ordered
Seating is pre-reserved
Transportation of a wheelchair and - or special assistance is requested
Travel with a group ticket

SAS will not reimburse travelers for costs such as, but not limited to, accommodations, meals or surface or air transport related for voluntary rebooking.
Refund
Refund is according to ticket rules for non-cancelled flights.
Refund is permitted for canceled flights.
Effective 02 April many passengers without UK VISA will need an Electronic Travel Authorization to visit the UK. Please visit UK GOV website for more information.
If you do not need a visa to visit the UK for short stays of up to six months, you might need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA).
If you hold a UK visa and use a biometric residence permit (BRP) or card (BRC) to prove your immigration status, access your eVisa before your travel to the UK.
If you already have an eVisa, make sure your travel document is registered to your account.
As a traveler you are responsible for making sure you meet the necessary requirements to enter your destination, before leaving for the airport.

As a part of the work to improve punctuality, SAS is making a change to the check-in and boarding deadlines.
Therefore, the new deadlines are:
Domestic and Scandinavian flights
- Check-in / baggage drop closes 45 minutes before departure.
- Boarding, closes 20 minutes before departure.Flights to/from Europe
- Check-in / baggage drop closes 45 minutes before departure.
- Boarding, closes 20 minutes before departure.Flights to/from Asia and North America
- Check-in / baggage drop closes 60 minutes before departure.
- Boarding, closes 35 minutes before departure.Flights to/from Africa
- Check-in / baggage drop closes 60 minutes before departure.
- Boarding, closes 20 minutes before departure.
The change applies for all channels where check-in functionality is available.
Due to the current situation in the region SAS has decided to pause all flights to Ukraine and Ukraine airspace until further notice.
As a consequence of the closure of Russian airspace, we are also making changes to routings for our flights to China resulting in longer flight times of approx. 2 hours.
