Young can be booked up until your 26th birthday. That doesn't mean you're old, we just had to put the limit somewhere.
Yes, you can change the time and date of your flight up until departure without a change fee. You do, however, have to pay the fare difference between your original and new flight. If not, you could buy a super cheap flight and exchange it for a really expensive one, which would be really bad for business.
